welp...it's that time of year again...

Hey guys, This year was something huh.

For me, this year had its highs, but also some very VERY low moments as well.

I don't wanna get into the bad stuff because its personal....So lets talk about all the good stuff that happened to me this year instead!!

ALL THE COOL STUFF THAT HAPPENED TO ME THIS YEAR!!!!111!!1!!1

- games I played this year

For starters this year I played a whole bunch of games I never even would've thought about playing. Some of the games were better than others, and let's just say some of them left a bigger impact on me than others lol.

I think I'll just list the main ones.

This year I played...

• Undertale - (It was aight. Didnt quite understand it and honestly don't have much motivation to go back to it. All the hype in 2015 for this game made me think it'd be better than it really is.) (sorry Tiltro)

• Super Mario RPG - (It was fun charming little game and I did really love it, but it didn't quite leave as a big of an impact on me as another certain RPG on this little list...)

• Sonic Mania - (I've wanted to play this game ever since it came out! It's super fun, I'm very very happy I finally got to play it this year. I'd say its now my 2nd/3rd favorite sonic game, and that's saying something for me lol)

• Fallout New Vegas - ( This game is so good oh my goodness gracious. Even though I've only been playing it for a month, I really really like it. All the different interactions and routes you can choose, and things you can do is astonishing. This game is HUGE! even though it looks ugly af and reeks of 2009, I'm having a blast with it! I've always had a thing for the fallout series but I never got to play any of the games until now. As the wise xxsquidwardxx said "Its best game...of all time".)

And the last and probably the most important game I played this year is Earthbound!

I played around the February/March time of year. I remember I just randomly tried it off-handedly at first, but then I talked to Tappy about it and he showed an Earthbound animation, than I gave Earthbound another shot and after that, I fell in love with Earthbound.

Basically everything about it captivated me from start to finish. The music, the characters, the story, the gameplay, everything. I got so invested in Earthbound that I played the other 2 games almost immediately after. I even modded my 3DS to have Mother 3 on it. Each of the games are unique and I love em all, but my favorite is still Earthbound. The Mother series is now one of my favorite video game series.

I know It sounds corny and stupid to say but I do really think Earthbound kind of changed my life for the better and helped me grow as a person.

(heh I never drew Mother 1 fanart...Maybe I should fix that.)

Alright I think that's enough singing its praise now, but yeah I guess you could say MY Earth changed after playing

I think I'm done talking about all the video games I played this year.

Lets talk about every other cool thing.

everything else!!!!

I finished and posted my own little One Piece collab this year. It was a lot of fun maybe one day I'll make another one.

I made a couple Peanutbuttergamer animations just cuz. Those were fun :]

I got to watch Pulp Fiction and No Country for Old Men this year too!! Both those movies are really really good! Love em both :]]

But I think one of the best thing that happened this year is I got a summer job and I actually made some money this year. It wasn't a whole lot, but its more money than I've ever had before, and because of that I bought a phone and got a cool shelf for games and a whole bunch of other stuff lol

now lets talk about the future plans for 1301!

the plans for 2025!!!!!!!!!

For 2025, I basically wanna do what I did this year BUT BETTER!!!

For future animations.. I got a couple things cooking in the oven atm ;)

I will say they are all One Piece related, no more PBG animations lol

This cartoon will probably come out sometime soon so be on the lookout for that :]

In terms of video games, I already have plans to play LISA as part of my Earthbound arc.

I also wanna try Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time this year too :]

And maybe even Metal Gear Solid!

I also wanna earn more money next year and work more.

...And maybe even try to start making animations for some other folks.....hehehehehehhe we shall see ehheheheheheheehe

Ultimately, I don't know what the future holds, but at this moment, things are coming up tyro!!!

I think it's time to wrap this stupid update thing up..

CONCLUSION

This year was a learning experience for me...

I feel like I did a lot and learned a lot in 2024, so for next year I just wanna keep doing what I've been doing.

Like I said at the beginning of this, 2024 also had a lot of low moments for me, but I think those moments also helped me grow.

I've become more willing to try new things and be more open minded about stuff.

I'm still learning, still growing, and still trying my best. :]

Well, that's pretty much everything. Here's to 2025!!

I decided to make this news post to recap some stuff i've done so far, and also a couple things in the future!

erm first things first if ya havent read the flipping title....

I GOT 1000 FANS ON NEWGROUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!

It has been a long time coming, but i finally did it!!!! I've been making silly cartoons for almost 4 years...good lord...

but it has been worth it. no doubt.

I've made friends and fans of my work because i just kept making stuff that i think is funny. Because of Newgrounds, I've been in numerous collabs, working with other talented, if not even more talented people than me. It's been, and still is a blast, learning more and more about animation and becoming better and also making more connections and more friends!! It's pretty much all I've wanted since I was like 14.

I am incredibly happy people like my animations and it always makes me smile when i see people actually reacting to my stuff lol

People have reposted my stuff on reddit, instagram, and even tiktok, but honestly, i'm more or less just happy seeing people like my animations and they like it so much that they want to share it with other people.

(well some people did try to take credit for my stuff lol)

sorry i'm ranting now, all i wanna say is thank you for watching my silly things and laughing lol

GOING UP!!!!!!!!!!

This year I decided to go forward with creating my own little series called Going Up!!

It's something that i've been planning for a while now, and i wanted to make a small animation to mix things up instead of just making one piece content for once.

I got my bud @meulinex to voice the main character, Sushee and I got to work making it

In the end I think it turned out pretty dang good, probably some of my best work to be honest.

Right now, I'm trying to learn how to use this dang ol tablet since it's my first one and it's kind of a learning curve and I've been drawing with my finger this entire time lol!!

You may have also noticed I slightly redesigned my character a tiny bit!!!

I'm calling it Going Up!!

I'm thinking about making a pretty short pilot of how the two characters first meet each other.

I've had this idea for a while now, but now that I'm a little more confident in animation and art, I think I'm about ready to try bring these fellas to life!

Idk for sure how long this will take to finish, but I would love to have this project done by the end of next year.

I'm currently writing out the story of the short pilot right now! :)

I'll probably leave updates of the project on twitter when I actually start animating it.

2022 was pretty stressful and challenging, but at the same time, I also made more friends and more connections and had a great time just hanging out with people!

It's been a while since i made an update post, but I've got a couple of things that i want to talk about. I can't exactly reveal some things, but i'll update you on as much as I can, because a lot is happening :)

first thing I wanna talk about is...

500 FANS

It's crazy I've gotten this far on Newgrounds. I'm super happy I've been able to show my animations and art to people through Newgrounds. I really really appreciate all of the support i get for my cartoons. I've gotten the chance to work with other talented people to help make my cartoons even better too!

I don't really know what else to say, except thank you all for giving my stuff a chance :)

like I said before, I've gotten to work on some pretty amazing things, and also some pretty great people too!

here are some of the things I helped with recently and also stuff that my friends worked on!

FULPWARE

@RGPAnims hosted a collab for Pico Day called Fulpware, a montage of microgames featuring several characters from Newgrounds!

A whole lot of people (including myself) worked hard on this project. Please please PLEASE WATCH THIS!! It's incredible just how much love got put into this collab!

(we even got a special someone named johnnyutah to voice the tankman for this)

I'm really happy with how it turned out and everyone involved did a great freakin job!!

My friend @Jack and others made a game called Shrimp OS!!

I have to thank Newgrounds for all of this. Newgrounds and the Newgrounds community has some very talented and supportive people. Without Newgrounds, i really don't know what I'd do honestly. I'd probably still be trying to somehow make YOUTUBE work...ugh...

Newgrounds has given opportunities to work on things that I've thought about doing for a really long time. It's helped me make new friends!

I just wanted to make this lil news post to say a few things and give an update on some stuff I'm doing!

First thing's first...

300 FANS!!!

Today I just reached 300 fans on Newgrounds!!! it feels like just yesterday I reached 200 fans! It's nuts!!

Seriously though, thank you to everyone who watch my animations, and follow and support me!! It really does mean a lot to me knowing that at least someone out there likes my cartoons, even if they are kind of dumb and short toons.

Conclusion

That's all I really wanted to mention. I want to work on some One Piece animations, and try my best to make it look visually appealing. I want my animations to look more colorful and I want to try to improve even more on animating. I know I can!! My animator friends are all so skilled and their work looks so much more professional than mine. I want to be on a very similar level when it comes to the quality of my cartoons!!

I tried to make my cartoon about Toei look very colorful and i even did some straight-ahead animation in that cartoon as well!

I guess the point is, I want to make my cartoons as good as I possibly can with the tools that I have.

anyways! enough rambling!!!

I want to end this post by saying thank you!! Thank you for all of the love you've shown me!! I really do appreciate all of the support! It means a lot to me believe it or not.

I'll try to make my work even better!!

today I birthed.

I'm making this news post to talk about my 2021 experience.

For me, I thought 2021 was so much better than last year!

This year gave me a lot of joy. More joy than I thought it would. There were some pretty bad things to come out of this year. I won't deny that. Some parts of my 2021 were not good... I had lows, but I think for me, the good parts outweighed the bad. Like I said this year gave me a lot of happiness. I won't go into too many details, but I will say this year gave me a lot of blessings.

Like the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Remakes, Jojo Part 6 Stone Ocean anime :>

2021 was also the year where I decided to make a short animated project...AND I DID IT!!

I animated, scripted, storyboarded, and edited a 3 minute One Piece animation and titled it Luffy's Big Adventure! East Blue. A shorted version of the East Blue arc in One Piece with cartoony versions of the characters, and (somewhat) fluid animation! While it's not perfect, it still means a lot to me, and the cartoon taught me more about long term projects, and also more about animation. It's still hard to believe that I actually made and finished a project like that! I'm still happy with it... :> Speaking of which, I should probably mention that I am considering making a sequel on the cartoon. Focusing on the Alabasta arc ;) I don't know how long it will take, and it might take quite a while, but I do feel a little more confident in making a sequel.

The cartoon did relatively well (especially on instagram) and it even got shared on reddit!!

This year also introduced me to a lot a really nice people. :>

After finishing Luffy's Big Adventure, I decided to get Discord so I could talk to my friend, 8BitAnt. I joined the NGP Server and met a lot of nice people there, but it was PKToasty that dm'd me and wanted to collab, and we made the Zoro VS Hody OP Battles animation, with PKToasty voicing Hody.

After that, I made friends and met more kind, talented, and fun-loving people like Toasty. I can't possibly be more thankful to him.

Toasty gave me a chance and now I'm friends with him, and many more lovely people too.

I could probably talk more about stuff like collabs I did with other people or other things, but I think I've already rambled enough lol...

In conclusion of this post, 2021 was not perfect. Not at all.

but dang did I have fun!!

I am going to miss this year. I truly hope that 2022 will be good as well, but if it's not for whatever reason, then I think that'll be okay. I think I'm starting to learn to accept that things don't always go the way I want. I just have to be alright with that...
